Last night my baby father excitedly insists on us watching 'Requiem for a Dream', and although it was compelling enough to keep me awake till such a late hour, his total enthusiasm for such a bleak depressing film has left me troubled.
He knew every scene inside out, obviously had watched it many times, he kept a constant commentary going all the way through on what exactly was happening at all times, less annoying for me than it sounds because it was a relief from the dire downward spiral of the story.
I guess Im wishing he wasn't so utterly fascinated by such dark and destructive matter, but he is. Deeply.
He clung to me tightly last night.

Anyways earlier on mothers day, my other baby father Hective, sent Vee and Ace around with the news that he and Hanna are expecting their first baby in October. The Children were most unsettled, but I tried to assure them everything would be alright, and that it definately didn't mean that their father would love them any less...
So things are yet again shifting within the family, Hective moves even further away from us, and I have to be even stronger for my two teenagers and make sure that nothing throws them off course.
